This winter has been day after day of....


However I recently heard a pop in the knee while skiing, and after a date with the surgeon it was decided that I ALMOST tore my calf muscel.

Doc took the ski wings away for awhile, so despite the dismal forcast last night.


I decided to pack light.


Arriving at my destination at 1st light.


Thankfully I brought the tube jigs.










It sure is a beautiful day today. Get out and get yours.

Nice looking fish, beautiful pics! I've never snowboarded or been skiing. But I know people that have the addiction. Its bad when you can't get your fix! Especially with fresh powder coming down as I speak. Me? I love ti fish. That's a artificial flies an lures only pond right ? I've never tried that pond because of that fact. I don't have a tube. But now I'm thinking of trying it.

It is artificial flies and lures only

No body contact is allowed with the water (ie a pair of waders or a dry suit is needed).

All cutthroat trout must be relaesed

The stream entering the lake is closed until the second Saturday in July.
