DEER CREEK bait and lures?

Me and a few buddies of mine are taking a trip up deer creek tomorrow and will just be fishing from the shore.. and i am not to familiar with deer creek any comments about what lures and bait i should use would be awesome! Also what part of the reservoir should we fish from?

I'm assuming that you're targeting trout? I'd recommend the charleston arm, which if you're not familiar will be the long cove on your left a mile or two after you cross the dam (coming from provo side). Bows should be staging up near the inlet. Check some of the past posts, and you'll find some good info. A good choice for lures here is a number 7 floating rainbow colored rapala, also, woolly buggers in black, purple work pretty well. IF bait, i would guess the usual stuff, green poo bait, worms, etc. good luck!

I think you may be referring to the Walsburg Arm. Charlseton is over by the Provo River inlet.
