Willard was great today we boated 30 or so wipers and some walleye to boot, Pulling cranks water temp was 58.8 when we got blew off around 3pm, MTNCAT and his friend had an great day also. Its nice when everything comes together as planed, All the wipers are back in there swimming waiting to get bigger, But we invited the walleye home for dinner tomorrow

I caught walleye until the sun came up and then the wiper started to hit. 7:45 8:00 am

Now that this cold front came through, I think the catching will be tough for the wipers but I hope the eyes will still be willing. When you processed the eyes you caught did you notice if they were done spawning?

Yes they where all done with the spawn and there stomachs where empty, We was not hooking them in the lips but clear down the throat, The walleye are hungry

Yea, the one we caught on Wens did the same thing, swallowed the crank deep in the throat. Hungry eyes for sure, this should be the beginning of another good season, I hope.[:/]
