Fished a Sat morning tx out of Cottens marina Sat and had an absolute blast. Needless to st the my girlfriend put a whopping on me catching 3 of the 5 keepers including the biggest fish 3.5 lb lm. Water temp stayed around 60 and was 64 when we left. 3 spots and 2 lm and none of the fish we caught had Layed out yet but there getting ready to. All fish were caught on either mud or a bridge pier on crankbaits spinnrbaits and lizards. I flat out got outfished. I caught more but she caught the bigger fish. She fished her tail off and I'm def proud of her. Or total weight was 8.67lb and was good enough for 1st place.
