I am taking my step daughter out on an 8' Scadden tomorrow for the first time... Any tips to make sure she catches some fish???? If we get skunked I'm pretty sure she will never go again...

Had a good time floating around today. Water was like glass and the sky was blue. Fish jumped around me ALL day but I didn't get even a tiny nibble. I tried spoons, flies, rooster tails, Jake's, rapalas, black 2" jigs,garlic and corn Powerbait, flies, and worms at every depth... We were south of the island, about 20 yards from the no wake markers...

Dang that is a bummer maybe next time I will join you if I got the day off. I'm sure itching for warmer weather to catch a few bass soon.
