We were mostly trying for musky but that was slow so we started to fish for crappie but that wasn't much better, probably caught only 5 or 6 crappie. No musky.

If you're going to pineview on sat keep in mind the ogden marathon will be going on. I would go trappers and put in at anderson cove. I hope to be on the water in the early a.m. i'll be in my yak...hopefully i'll have my new depth finder installed by then. If you see a couple yaks out say hello!

The wife an I was out there yesterday in our Smokercraft and got skunked. I saw water temp as low as 56 over by dam and 59 in shallow coves. It was my first time there. Thats a nice lake.. We threw spinner baits(including some of the Rippin Lips ive seen recommended) and swim baits. We mostly fished coves over on NE leg. We also fished heavy over on far NW side, along that highway. We stayed in shallow water and casted along shorlines. Nothing. No strikes, no chasers.
