Pelican Attack on Henry's Lake!
#1
My buddy Ironrod was at Henry's yesterday and witnessed the Pelican hord swallowing dozens of fish my the minute. The ice is completely off as well.

I hate those freaking vermin! There are at least two dozen of them camped out on one of my favorite bass lakes. It is still a few feet low, so flooded brush is scarce. At first I was excited by the idea of the fish really being drawn to the small amount of available cover, then I thought about how the pelicans will probably figure that out too and eat a bunch of big bedding fish. I truly wish they weren't protected, they're really damaging the local fisheries.

The ice went off 3 weeks before the opener . I wonder what that will do to the fishing . Will some off the fish that are shallow during the opener still be there or will they move out .
