Fished ririe on Saturday up the willow creek arm. Perch and rainbows were biting like crazy. Not a lot of size but still fun to catch. The bows bit on trolling spinner and the perch were biting a trolled wedding ring set up that had a bit of worm. I tried some crawler rigs off the bottom while slow trolling to see if I could catch one if those fabled ririe walleye but had no luck there. Has anyone fished and actually caught one?

Would like to add a few comments on Ririe...
Went out last night (2nd) as well as last Friday evening... Found some kokes that wanted to play down 25 to 30 feet over 45 to 50 foot of water both nights. Lots of action for just a couple of hours each day I was out. After chasing kokanee in open water, moved towards shore and had some action on cutts, bows and smallies while tossing a small jig/worm and no. 5 Shad Rap till dusk....
Only 2 perch between both nights out and funny enough, caught them on the koke gear in the deeper water.

That's funny you mention getting perch on the koke gear. That is what they were biting on for us as well. I had never caught many perch trolling before. I don't know if that means the perch population is doing well or if it was just a strange fluke. There were a few schools we trolled past that were out pretty deep. All told I would guess we hooked up on more than 15 perch while trolling . It was sometimes difficult to tell they were on the line due to there smaller size. Only about half made it to the boat but they seem to be very active right now.
