We took the neighbors two daughters out in the boat this afternoon and they helped mama reel in some nice walleyes. I had to take a picture of my new flag also.

Nice to see more of the flags flying. Cool beans.
What's your pole-tip there? I need to put something like that on mine. Always worry a bit what a REALLY big wind might do. (how I lost my FIRST flag out of the back of a pickup!) I found the marker poles they use for parking lots are the perfect size for Curt's flags, plus some have reflective properties, and that can't be bad. Sounds like a good day out. Thanks for sharing.

I went to Lowe's and bought a driveway marker pole with the red reflected on the end .Then I put a 3\16 vacuum cap on the top,and 3 small wire ties around the flag and pole .But then I don't leave it on the boat when I travel.

Might have seen you out there. Were you fishing closer to the north dike? I couldn't see your name on the BFT flag. We were having a little bit of engine trouble when you passed by so didn't swing by you to say hi.

Good looking flag[cool], I'm glad to read the eyes are still hanging in there. Taking the neighbors kids out is a great way to get them started in the great outdoors at a young age, I bet they had a blast.

Hey Yote, you saw my flags yesterday? That is my anchor light pole, with a little bigger diameter dowel rod thru the flag pocket, then the top, and the middle between flags, and the bottom of the dowel is taped to the anchor light pole with HVAC joint tape (shiny, thin, and very sticky) The tape looks just like the light pole so it looks like the flags are attached into the pole. Had to put some fabric edge adhesive on the BFT Flag. It started fraying a bit last week first time I flew it after getting it from Curt.
On the anchor lite pole, I can fly my flag before light and after dark with the light turned on. And once I'm off the water, I roll those flags to the pole, and use a couple pieces of Velcro to wrap them tight. The pole has a couple rubber clamps in the boat, and that's where it's stored . But I like seeing that BFT flag flying. [signature]
