Went out this afternoon for a little fish fry meat. emoHungry I hit several docks and a few deep places. Most crappie were in about the 15 foot range. You could see them on the depth finder in some places suspended about five foot off the bottom. It was not easy to get them to bite and often when they did it was so suttle it was hard to tell they even hit it. I kept at it until I had a limit. I also caught a couple nice red ear and a cat fish. Came home with a nice mess of 15 crappie and one big red ear. Boated about that many more shorts. All were caught on a blue/white tubes, 1/32 oz. head and four lb yellow high viz test.<br /><br />Saw the great Drum King out with Dr. Phil, they pulled up, hit a hump for a few minutes and off the went to the next place. I just got finished having fresh crappie for supper and put a couple more messes in the freezer. There is no better fish then fresh crappie fried right when they jump out of the lake into the fry pan. emoHungry emoDance Jmax
