I visited Canada for the first time in my life and went on a fishing excursion with my dad, twin brother, and my twin brother's father-in-law. We stayed at Paquette's Camp, which is in Chapleau, Ontario. We had a BLAST!!! Tons of fish were caught, cleaned, and eaten for lunch/dinner. Weather was fair. We had a couple of days that were in the high 40s, but for the most part, the weather was good to us. emoCool We targeted smallmouth bass and caught tons of those feisty fish. The males were guarding the beds and we used a spinner with a minnow or night crawler on the hook. As long as we threw it on their bed, they nailed it!!! The northern pike bite was also good. We trolled around a few islands and fished under a bridge and loaded up. The walleye were also a blast to catch. We trolled and drifted for walleye using small minnows and had a great time landing those fish. Here is a video I compiled. I hope you enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBq_tcBpDx4 emoSmile
