well made it back to the berry to go after some kokes today and wow what a day. got to the lake and on the water at about 8am. found 54 degree water and no wind . headed out towards sage hen knoll trolled for about 30 minutes with only one bite and we were thinking about relocating when wham a triple hook up all kokes. then the actions was steady the rest of the day. ended up with about 18 kokes, several bows and and cuts. wind picked up about 1 pm fish fished for another hour and decided to beat it out of there. the hot lure today was an rmt pearlesent uv squid behing a bahama mama dodger. later in the day switched to a uv black haze and did well also. what a great fishery

Very nice. Sure wish it wasn't three hours away from me.
Thanks for the lure tips, always like saying that "Bahama Mama" - seems like it should be served in a Coconut with an umbrella.
Well played. Rock on!

kurt we were fishing in the main lake over by the island (sage hen knoll) just out in the middle of the lake.just troll around until you find them it wasn't hard.fishing seems alittle slow at first because the cutthroat bite hasn't come on yet but almost every bite was a kokanee. 15 feet was the best depth. but caught them down to 35 feet. the bigger fish were a bout 3 lbs but didn't weigh any of them the average size was great though. and they really had some energy. there is nothing bad about screaming drag.[cool]

Nice report. That is one happy looking fisherman in the 3rd pic!
Thanks kindly for the info as well. I was up there yesterday and just managed a couple of kokes - still new to koke fishing and trying to learn the ropes; appreciate the tips on lures/flashers etc.
