We tried Lake St. Katherine for a couple of days. Steady with a few Lg. Mouth thrown in. Tubes and Black wave worms with blue flake seemed to do the trick.
Next up to Colchester for a few days of lake Champlain. Great area as you have some nice flats to fish in the morning with chartreuse spinning baits with gold willow blades. then to the drop offs with Hula Grubs in watermelon and Black/blue flake worms as well. Ramp is made to launch four boats at a time and two floating docks. Hope to return in the fall to try and get outside the harbor. We did have three ft. swells inside at one point. For us nothing went over three pounds. that's fishin.

I'll take some in the fall. But no one wants to see 3lb fish. LOL

Well I don't know about that, a 3 lb SM is a decent fish, no matter where you live.
