Deer Creek Dam fishing access.

I was looking at Deer Creek Dam on Google Satellite. I noticed there was not only the Jordan River Parkway path but it looked like you could just park yur car and walk up to the dam and fish. Is the any rule not to fish off the dam?

Since 9-11 most dams are now closed. Talk to the state parks and see what they say.

You can't fish between the dam and the buoys. You'll see the signs as you are walking along the path. So that means no fishing off the dam. That also means no fishing on the shorelines that lead to the buoys. Walk past the buoys and you can fish anywhere you want.

Yep what Harlin and Albino said I fish the lower provo were near the dam and its fenced off on that side with No trespassing signs. The side nearest to the Lake has Buoys and you can be ticketed for fishing inside of those buoys.
