what are some good places to fish near red river nm?

Our family is planning on taking a trip to red river new mexico next week and im planning on taking my jeep. We go to red river at least once a year so i have fished all of the places in town as well as the cimmarron river. I was looking for some more remote places that would still have a jeep trail to go fish at. I enjoy offroading and so the trail up there would be an add on to the fishing. I had considered goose lake but i had heard that the fishing hasnt been great. I will be fly fishing and everyone else will just be fishing with spinners, worms, power bait, etc. None of us have waders so a bank where we can fish from is needed. Were just wanting a place were we can offroad a bit to get to, and fish where there wont be too many people and if there is any lakes with good scenery too that would be a plus.
