Had to work this morning on a alarm quote and camera quote but once I had that done I was pretty much caught up for the day. Decided to sneak out around noon and fish for five hours. It was pretty hot and I think I missed the best bite but still managed a couple to come into the boat. Had some activity on top water today over grass that was about two to three feet under. Had some nice blow ups. Caught a smallie on a spook in the grass. emoScratch He must have been lost. Most on top water were smaller but I did manage a couple keepers. Best one doing this was 2/11.<br /><br />The other two baits I was able to get them to hit this afternoon were a shakey(surprise, surprise emoBig
) and a crank. Most were along the grass or a drop. Had one catfish just crush my crank, it was about 4 lbs. I think I had nine keepers in all today but not too much weight. Best five were 4/4, 2/11, 2/11, 2/9 and 2/8, so what is that....14/11 total. I headed home at 5:00. Derek and I have been having such a good year lately I hope we can pick it up again this weekend. emoThumbsup Don&#39;t want to sound greedy but we all want to do well. emoToast <br /><br />Looking forward to a good turn out this weekend for the Day CBA.
