Battling Venice La. Bulls, Tripletail and Mangroves
#1
Haven't been able to post in a while, been fishing everyday since Aug. 1st. But here is some of the action we've been having down in Venice. The trout action has been slow, so, we've substituted trout for mangroves.

The pic of the redfish below was 47 inches long and weighed 40 lbs. We had to chase the fish down a little canal for over 1/4 mile before we could land him.

The tripletail pictured below was a 15 pounder, unfortunately I never could get the angler and the fish together for a pic. The action was just that hot and heavy.

30 Mangroves and 6 Red Snappers in State waters in just over an hour.
