Today TDT and I end up going fishing together after a long delay from how each other schedule have been so we decided we had to make a fly fishing trip together afternoon. Meet TDT at 4 pm and jumped into his little car and blasted our way. Going toward weber river we both enjoyed the great slow traffic pass heber city [crazy].
We first hit a few holes on the weber river and I was the only one to get one hooked on but in the end had a nice LDR. After that we just bailed and hit Echo. Fished around some of the spots that gave me some luck last year. All I we can say we slapped the dink out of them. My smallest bass of the day was 2" long [laugh].
Most of the bass range 4-8" but I was able to catch a 12" with a crawdad pattern that I created right before it got to dark.
I end up catching over 15+ bass that whipped out TDT with his low bass fly fishing skills[
].
While driving back we both agreed I'm the master of dinkers. If there was a contest for the smallest fish TDT confirmed I would win all hands on deck.
Didn't bother to take any pictures.
Shall be on strawberry for day the 3rd straight day in a row for fly fishing and just hope it will treat me at least decently before going back to 8 days of work.
