Lincoln lights?

Down playing at the Lincoln beach this morning while everyone was in school. Watched some county guys putting some poles up at the end of the dikes. Anyone know what they for? Ended up with four cats, one was pretty decent and still swimming.

Did you see many carp out there near the shore? I'm looking at going down tomorrow and wanna know if it's worth taking the bow. Thanks!

The carp are there just hard to see. I shot a couple this morning just around the point. Probably would have got more if I had got out in the water.

That's very curious. It seems it would be very expensive to put lights out there, and for what reason? Better spend the money dredging the channel deeper. Maybe TubeDude knows, or he can find out.

Hook, Marine-- Same observations here. Poles have gotta be for lights??

Last Wed. the carp were so thick I could not go fast thru them without throwing up a pink mist behind the boat. Had a blast throwing arrows at them. Next day I could not see a carp. Have no idea what turned them on Wed., maybe the 71 degree water?? Have been down that way a lot all summer and sometimes the carp are there and sometime they are not. They are very spooky and if they see boat or shadow they are gone. Still lots of nice flock shots with a dozen or so carp at maybe 15-20 feet. I'll be there tomorrow with bow ready just in case they put in an ppearance again.

Hope the poles are for lights.... that sometimes green flasher is not very reliable. Water in channel is less than two feet now. Good luck if you get out there.

I can see them putting lights there to help mark the channel for the launch. Also would e\help to keep from running into the dikes. Nice kitty!!![cool]
