Javelin33, North chick creek, Everything, 9/30/14
#1
I wanted to fish today, but I didn't feel like getting the boat out so I decided I'd do a little wade fishing while I still could. I've never waded down the north chick, but it's definatly something I'll do again.
I had a great time and ended up catching 108 fish in a little over 3 hours. I caught bream, bluegill, red eye, goggle eye, largemouth, smallmouth, spots, creek chubs, and various sun fish. The water was clear and cool and I caught all of them on a brown rooster tail. You had to be quiet because if the bass saw you they would not bite. I caught 4 largemouth, 5 spots, and 2 smallmouth. All of the fish looked very healthy.
It was a fun day to relax and not worry about a boat.
I also saw a dead striper that would've had to travel no telling how many miles up river to get to where I was.
