Hyrum State Park Tagged Contest
#1
Going to Hyrum SP with the family tomorrow. Closest thing I'll get to gambling as my kids and I will try to catch a tagged fish. A couple of questions, in case anyone can help me out:
1) Will the tags be obvious? What do they look like?
2) What species did they tag? If they only tagged trout, then I won't target bass; but if they tagged several different species, then we'll target trout, bass, and bluegill. . .

Thanks in advance.

Hey good luck when you go. Last I heard there's still around 50 tagged fish left. The tags are easily removable and are attached to the trout's dorsal fin. They're small, but you can easily identify it. The only tagged fish are the trout species. But it's been very slow this fall, for whatever the reason- and the water level is low, but has risen a little over the last couple of weeks.
