I completly forgot to post yesterday. We started the tournament off by running north just past the nuke plant and fished a few rock walls. Todd started us off by catching a 12.25&quot; spot. Not big, but it was a fish in the live well. We fished to the end of the last wall and decided to come back up the last wall. We got almost back to the other end and i hooked a good 4-5 lb smallmouth, but it ended up coming up right next to the boat and spitting the hook before we could net it. Definately didnt help the day any, but things happen sometimes. Went right back to fishing and caught another spot exactly 12&quot;. We went a little further north and fished a cove that wasnt taken over by grass. I caught another small spot about a half inch short of 12&quot;. We fished some more rocks, islands, &amp; grass but couldnt come up with anymore fish. Ended up weighing in our 2 small spots for 1.67 lbs.<br /><br />This is our 2nd year fishing together. Weve done a lot better this year than we did last year. Were still learning and donateing money to the tournaments. Lol. But were slowly learning and getting better. I guess thats the main thing. Cant wait to see everyone on Nov 1st!
