I got out on the water Saturday around 1030. Fished the grass for the couple hours I was there. I picked up a 5#er pretty quick on a SB and thought maybe something would start happening. Wrong!!! emoBang I had a few other small bumps but that was it. I threw a frog for a little bit but not even a sniff. I called it a day about 2.<br /><br />Went out this morning thinking the AM bite might produce something. I did a little better than yesterday but not much. I picked up a 3#er about an hour into it on a buzzbait. I thought again maybe something will fire up. Wrong again!! Fished the area for a little while longer with nothing. So i moved to a different spot and started throwing a frog. Nothing on the frog today either. I picked the SB back up and the first cast I had one crush it. I saw it jump and saw that it was a good smallmouth. Got it to the boat and weighed it right at 4#s. Fished for a little bit longer and decided to call it a day about 12 because the wind was terrible out there. Fish were caught from 4-8 FOW.
