I havent been on here in a while its been a busy summer, moved from a rental to a home close to my hunting grounds.
But anyhow heres my first ever Elk cow. I got a draw tag for either sex and hoped to get a cow since they are more around these parts. I had a couple misses and decided to go back to my trusty .270. I shot this cow about 120yds. The rear legs with bones cut at the hocks, front legs with bones cut at the knees and back straps weighed in at 225lbs!
