Looking for some bluegill action
#1
Hey all-- I'm headed down to Utah Lake with my fiancee on Tuesday to see if we can't get some bluegills on the stringer for dinner.

Although I grew up in Utah, I have never once fished Utah Lake. I live closest to the state park section of the lake, and I think for now I'd like to avoid Lindon Marina anyway.

Anyone have tips for where to look for 'gills in the state park area?

All I can say is good luck finding bg till ice season on utah lake. Your mostly going to be catching white bass, mud catfish. or channel catfish.

Try in the harbor right around the docks. They are tough to find, but you might get lucky. If you catch one, there will likely be more around.
