Finally caught some fish on a frog today!! We got out there around 1:30 yesterday and the mats were the most active I have seen them so far. Had a few blow ups the first mat we stopped at but couldn't stick any of them. Drove around for a bit looking at mats and decided to stop at a mat we have never fished before. Fished there for a bit and watched fish blow up in the mats on everything except our frog emoBang Atfter watching the same fish blow up multiple time by itself and not eat my frog I threw my frog in there and just let it sit on it for a little while without moving it, right when I twitched it the fish about jerked the rod out of my hands! I knew it was a big fish, finally got her in the boat and went to get my scales and realized the batteries were dead in it emoBang After asking a few boats I finally found someone that had scales they let me borrow and she weighed 6-14. New PB for me I figured she would of went 7.5 but I will take it considering that was my first fish on a frog this year!! We caught 5 more with no size but still had a good time out there. .Trying to get a pic uploaded but it keeps saying the image is too big, if I figure it out I will get a pic posted
