So I had an hour to fish yesterday after work and decided to play at a community pond. Due to the wind at first I was casting from the up wind side of the pond, I was casting halfway across and was getting nothing, I went to the down wind side and threw as hard as I could to a fishy looking spot about 12 feet away. I barely made it I started the slow retrieve of an olive woolly burger and low and behold there was a tug. He fought well, but I couldn't believe I caught a cat on a fly, I never thought I would get to cross that off my list[
] on the next cast I hooked up again, but my line broke, at that I went to another section and pulled in a small large mouth, sorry no pic I was late and didn't want to get in too much trouble[angelic] but it was a fun time just to get out.
