the hale lakes are not safe anymore ..2 guys went in long lake last week... and 2 more in sage lake this week[crazy]

I hope they were recovered safely,

cant say I didnt see this comming, I stated this a couple weeks back.

you would think that the ice being a foot away from the shore would be enough to deture people from ventureing on.

that is just not the case, I have watched hundreds of people lay a board across the devide to get on the ice. in these conditions you think it would set off red flags, un safe ice!!! these conditions leave open safe pockets in the ice, if there is any moving water, springs, or bacterialy over active ponds the ice becomes unsafe fast.

I see a number of derbys bave been cancled already through out the mid west due to unsual worm conditions.

OUR ICE WAS COMPLETLY GONE TODAY . IMAGINE 6 " OF ICE JUST GONE OVERNIGHT .
WHEN WE DID HAVE ICE IT WASN'T LIKE IT WAS DOWNSTATE , NO JUMPING OR BOARDS NECESSARY , FROSE ALL THE WAY ACROSS , BUT PLENTY OF THIN SPOTS !

did you see that the macinaw tournament was closed?

it was suspost to be I think the 6-7 of january
