We hit the lake around 10 this morning in search for some schooling fish. It started off pretty hot with a good mixture of whites and drum. We caught fish steadily all day, just had to move around a lot to get bit. We caught almost every species in the lake including catfish, crappie, whites, yellows, large mouth, drum, and a striper. There were some really nice whites in the mix with a few around 2lbs. During one little stretch we got on some fish eating bigger shad and they were good ones. I lost a really good bass at the boat and the next I hooked into a 17lb striper which was a blast. Shortly after my buddy hooked into a monster bass that went 9.2 which was his PB. It was an awesome day and we caught around 50 fish.
All fish bit shad type baits
Water temp was from 50-54.
