Had to go to Dalton this morning & by the time we got home, it was 3:45. It was so nice, I told Kim I was going to spend the last hour or so on the lake. Launched at 4:15. Thought maybe I could get a bite around creek mouths on a jerk or a trap. Did that for an hour & got nothing. There was a little pocket off one creek I pulled into & it was loaded with matted grass...With bait in it! Only thing I knew to do was Throw a Frog!! Ended up getting 2 to crash it. One about 4# & the other about 2.25. Made the trip worth it! The 4# fish just about took the rod away from me!
