I'm glad you are trying to locate the owner, wish there were more people in the world that felt that way. Hope you find the owner. I found a nice trail camera several years back that I assume fell out of someone's pack, I posted it on the various sites on the web and the owner even had his picture on the camera when I down loaded it so I posted his picture as well. I never got any responses. I still have it at home and have never used it. Thanks for posting Mike.

Strong work! I lost a shotgun years ago, alas no one ponied up. You may want to have the local sheriff check the NCIC (I think) database. If the owner knows the SN and reports it lost/stolen, it will be in the database.

I called and reported it to a DNR officer. He has the description and serial number and my contact info if anything pops up.
