Any updates on Electric Lake?
#1
Headed up Fairview Canyon this weekend to get on the hard deck. Any updates on the ice thickness/fishing at Electric Lake? Or any other lake up the canyon?

Thanks for your input!

You shouldn't have a problem with thickness on any of the 3 lakes. All had safe ice and were easily fishable as of the weekend.

We finished electric lake last weekend and killed them. We tried Cleveland before that but there was an inch or two of ice 4 inches of slush and then ice under that so it kind of sucked Plus the fishing sucked there in comparison to electric. But we are headed back to electric again definitely it was worth it.

So did you hike into electric from the highway or did you go on snowmobile?

After a slow day today at Scofield with chubs and skinny cutts I am trying to get a friend to go with me tomorrow to Electric Lake. He has never fished there and I've been trying to get him to go with me for three years. I have two snowmobiles and am wondering where to park to access the lake during winter months. I have summer fished it and ice fished it from the dam but never had access to snowmobiles until now and want to fish the main lake through the ice.
Any suggestions on parking during winter months on the boat ramp entrance would be appreciated.
