Chicken Creek Ice and Slush??????

I am wanting to take my daughter out ice fishing tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the ice and slush conditions at chicken creek. just want to know before I take her on the ice. I am a little hesitant after seeing the guy go thru at Otter Creek.

Not sure about Chicken Creek. I was at strawberry bay on the west side. The ice was about 6" thick, so you should be ok. There was some slush and a lot of cracking and popping going on though!

I was also on the Berry today. No slush where I was and the ice was 8 inches or more. Once it gets thicker than 6 inches, I quit counting. Temp was 0 when we arrived at 7:30 am with a bit of ground fog. It was 17 when we left to come home at 1:30 pm.
