Any safe ice at starvation? I hear people have been out but no ice info. Its usually 3rd or 4th hand info passed down the line from a week ago.

Stopped past on my way home from Strawberry on MLK Day. SE side of bridge was 8" with about 1" of snow on the ice. Little to no snow on shore. Edges were a bit thin but not too big a deal at that point. Fishing wasn't worth much in the short time we were there. There were several people on the west side too.

Thank you. We went today from 4-1. Ice is safe near the bridge and as far as i could see. Fishing was slow til we moved and started drilling holes looking for marks on the finder. I didnt do so well and snapped off 1 at the hole and my friend landed 4, mostly small bows.
