Just got back from PV night fishing. Fished off browning point near the pump house. 45' of water and thought my finder was malfunctioning because there were so many fish....caught a pretty good mess of crappie. They were tough to get to bite hard enough to get a hook set...went small and changed colors a lot...pink seemed to be "the color". Fished were stacked from the bottom and up 25'. Good ice, 6-7" , very slick, wear your treads...

I was also out there, just west of you I think. I was the one with the four-wheeler. Nice night to be out on the ice!

Good job on the night fishing, did you catch any larger size crappie other than the 8 to 10 inch and smaller? Just wondering if the night bite produced larger fish.

No, it was the same 8"-10" crappie we have grown accustomed to.

How did you do? You must have been right off of Browning Point. We were out from and just a bit east of the pump houses. I considered heading further west....but decided to set up shop where we were. thanks!

We caught a few. They were all normal size except for the occasional big one.
