Hey I hope the day was a fruitful one for you and your 3 year old. We went to East Canyon and got the skunk, which seemed to be the trend. We were thinking of heading to Mantua tomorrow. We were there last week and the ice seemed pretty good where we were at. I was just wondering if you had any report on the thickness/quality today, the warmer weather this week has got me a little nervous about what we will find up there tomorrow.

Or maybe we'll just go to Scofield. I understand it's mostly chubs coming out of the ice right now, but I've got a wife that is new to this sport and catching a bunch of those might be just the thing to get her hooked, so to speak.

Well I can't say much for the fishing we only had poles in for maybe 20 minutes before the little one got cold. We did get one good bite but it was to quick for me. The ice seems good about 4 to five inches. But piping and cracking all day ( I don't think I will ever get used to that) .
