Had the pleasure of taking Jay and his wife Gaye out for a cat fishing excursion Sat. Its been really tough lately to find them. One day they are there and the next they are gone. <br />We worked really hard through cold and wind to find a few small fish for the morning. Decided to move locations of the lake and that did the trick. Gaye started calling the fish and we got on a hot bite in a hurry. Gaye caught her new personal best and we lost some much larger hawgs down in heavy timber.<br />The evening ended with a stunning sunset, beautiful scenery, good company and thousands of Sandhill Cranes.
