Hryum Sat 1-31 Report
#1
I took the kids to Hyrum yesterday and fished just east of the boat ramp. We were fishing in 35' of water and found tiny perch on the bottom. They ranged from 3-5" and were biting anything with wax worms. We found some decent rainbows suspended about 20' down. One was 16" the others were 10-12". They liked meal worms and orange curly tail jigs.
The ice was good clear and solid. Just melted away from shore about 3' but we walked a little ways and found the ice 1' from shore. Lots of groups out there yesterday it looked like most people were catching fish.

Glad you got the kids into the fish. Seems like the perch there have been small for so many years you would think there are a few bigger ones around some where but you sure don't hear many people catching them.
