Fish Lake 2/08/15 video
#1
Got to fish lake around 9am to the lake and there was a few small parties going around with a few snowmobile running around the lake.
I didn't even atemp to find the small perch but was looking for Lake Trout. Finding the right depth, with in 30 min - 1 hrs I finally looked up on a lake trout, and it sure end up being a nice 19" Laker [angelic]. Tossed a rod up closer to me with many small rainbows cruising just a few ft under me like a race car track. Lake trout were hitting so light that I could barely see or feel my rod/line moving. By 4pm hit the shallow water to find splake just like my last trip. For sure all the bows and splake I found were there and not a single perch one again.

Caught over 10 Splake, 20+ bows, and one lake trout.

Used small ratfinkies, paddle bug, and 2.5" plastic tube tipped with chub or meal worm.

just curious why you refer to it as a reservoir?

I'm not sure that's what I typed late at night when I was editing the video.

As always thanks for sharing your videos here...

Still don't understand why you mess with your line and let out line like you do when you are fighting a fish though... If you don't keep tension on them and they are hooked poorly they'll get off.

Ya no problem.

I've had many times that when I got a good size fish on and then it runs off close to the hole it end up snap my line in the end for how tight the line was.
