I had my steel bar holders break away on my Renegade. It was probably because I put some feet stirups I made out of pvc on them and the pressure from me rowing and putting so much force on my feet/stirrups just broke the knoby looking things right off.
I took it to Northfork and asked them to fix it. They fixed them in under ten days and when I got my boat back it had as expected new front foot bar receptors but it also had a new seat and a couple of extra snap on clips thrown in for good measure.
I have always liked the stuff I got from them (this is my second boat from them) but now I can brag about their service too.
I don't know what my next model boat will be but I know who it will be made by.
