Let me start with saying I got the cut I was looking for and am no longer keeping any more cuts they are all going back !!

I'll start with chicken creek I find early ice this is one of the best places to fish.I think I made 6 or 7 trips here and who knows how many fish but i do know the worst trip was in the 20 fish range. aaand my wife got mad after i made her put a 23 ich fish back and i kept this 25.5 inch fish (THE VIDEO IS WORTH WATHCIN I THINK )

Then we move over into soldier creek side tried fishing deep 26 feet or so and it was slow endeed up chasing planter bows into shallow water an finding all the fish biger bows wanting to bite just at dawn or dusk. We fish over there until we needed to find fish at east canyon for the Quad.

Made 2 trips to east canyon catching 30 plus fish each trip and if the fish did'nt have the worms things I would fish there more often great fighter heavy nice fish.[inline 10947816_1053345511358804_461688043_n.jpg] We did great in the contest taking 1st 2nd and 4th alittle dissapointed that we did'nt get to do all four lakes [inline 10965484_1055687297791292_1867610063_n.jpg]

After east cayon started to fish the ladders and the ladders was on frist two trips i caught 3 fish over 25 inches all went back in the[inline 10967865_1057016550991700_1455215455_n.jpg] wife did get a nice 23 inch rainbow then there was a ten day strech that was just great one of my best [inline 10965759_1057585754268113_1504749380_n.jpg]Wednesday

TDT you know you have a seat in the car all you got to do is call i do have a few new spots you'll like.
All i have been doing is hunting baby bows and finding the cuts getting fat
eating them there is a lot more big cuts this year then in years past i'll bet my group has caugth 35 plus over the slot in the last two months but we dont take a picture unless we kill the fish so no more big fish picture from me.

Do you think the ice is safe to take an atv from either the SB marina or from the Ladders to the northernmost entrance to the narrows?

yes the ice is good but if you go from the ladders there is a huge pressure crack you will have to cross but with all the new snow it should be good just be safe

Great googly moogly! Epic indeed! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit jealous. My ice season this year was not near as productive. Looks like you've got the fish figured out. Thanks for the pics. Some of those cutts have amazing color. Hope they were as tasty as they looked. Nice post!
