Hit fish lake at about 8:45 or 9:00. Morning temp was fine and they day only got better. The afternoon wind that always hits fish lake never really showed up. We fished maybe a mile up the road from the lodge. Easy walking out.
We started at 18ft and all the way up to 61ft. We were hunting for perch but had slime rockets on us all day. We easily caught 100 trouts with 5 of us and maybe 50-75 perch.
Around 5:30 we were getting ready to head out but the poles were on fire, once again all trout. Are gear was all about the perch and the splake and rainbows did not care.
Amazing day. Can never complain when you have the views we had all day and the fish that just wanted to say hi.
I posted a month back or so about losing my tackle back at Hyrum, never did get it back. But now it is my turn to pay it forward. There was a group next to us on a wheeler and when they left they left a bucket full of gear. If this is yours I want to get it back to you. Just message me.
