What MSM said.

I went out today found easy launching with 3-3 1/2 depth in the channel. Water temp at 8:30 was 44 and 46 at 1:00 when I left. Saw three other boats, all of them stayed around the first spring. Never did get around to the orchards to see what the walleye guys were doing.

I fished for cats around the Benjamin Slough area. Found a few right along the mud line where the stream enters the Lake. Biggest cat was about 24 inches and rather lethargic in battle. Fished mostly in about 3 ft. of water. Slow fishing but it sure felt good.

The battle continues tomorrow.

You did better than I did. I hit Lindon marina. Caught one white bass and several hits from the kitties. Water temps were 43 at 8 am and 48 at 1 pm.

The warmer it gets the hotter it gets. Sixty degrees will turn them on big time.

I think this is the first time I have ever had my boat on Ut. Lake in March. Seems like we are usually waiting for ice to melt clear in to April. Good now but maybe not so good come July, Aug. Sept. and Oct. Get 'em while we can.[Smile]

Good luck!

Yeah it was pretty shallow where I was at 2 feet for the longest before I could find 4 feet.
