Fish Lake 3/09/15
#1
Watch out on the south side it looked like about 100 ft or so from the boat ramp a 4 wheeler broke through from how the ice froze up and was only 2" and other then that the ice is 12-14" thick. Tons of slush in the afternoon especially after drilling a hole.
Don't forget your spikes like I did and almost fell backward in the video. [laugh]

My buddy and I got to the lake at 8am and fishing was great until 1pm then it just slowed down.

We caught over 100 perch, a good amount of rainbow, a few splake, and my buddy caught one 22" Lake trout but Sadly somehow that file with the lake trout video magically delete it self.

Perch size 4-9", rainbow 13 - 16", Splake 8-12", and lake trout 22".

I caught most of the fish on a 1.5" gitzit little tough guy .

If you look on the website I believed I used the first, second, and 4th one in the picture. I usually go to fish tech and grab a few. They always worked great at fish lake.

Nice! I ended up going too. Same day. haha. camped out, phone was dead. I was way north. didnt mess with those dinks near shore for too long. caught lunch at 15ft and went deep. Ended up with endless bows at 10-20ft and splake up to 18" at 30-60ft . I landed my first laker, 21" with a few more bites down deep.

First time experiencing the "slush monster". 6" slush, 4" frozen slush, and 6+" of solid ice under.
