strawberry conditions?

Anyone at strawberry today or yesterday willing to share information on ice conditions?

We were on the Soldier Creek side of things, The ice was plenty thick 12-17", We went at night, but you could tell there was a layer of slush that was freezing up from the warm day. when we left (Around 2 am) It was solid again.

The ladders yesterday. A lot of open water.

Soldier Creek by boat ramp. Ice was noisy, solid. Evidence of soft on top but fine in the morning when I was there today. Catching was best early, most fish were caught between 8:00 and 9:15; Fished in 18-30 FOW, caught fish 10-20', mainly on white and redflecked gazillia's. As the time passed the fish would come, look and leave. VERY LIGHT bite, usually only hit once then would leave.
