Well its starting to look like I am out on Willard this month third trip with no fish. Currently Sitting out on the freeway bay dike and we are both starting to smell like skunk pretty bad. Weather is great tho []

Head over by the Light Pole, I've had no luck at Freeway bay either this year. Troll between the Island and the Light Pole, good luck.

I appreciate the the response but I am land locked no boat ha ha. Probably going to head down to the south side tho and give her a shot there.

There were lots of folks at the SW corner on Sat so there must have been a reason, good luck, hope you find some willing fish.

Saw people bringing in fish on the south dike from shore. Looked like they were soaking bait on the bottom. But fishing wasnt that hot today. I think that front with clouds came early and fish shut down mid day. Early was good, not great.

I noticed the barometer I bought went down 2 points from Thursday as well.

Well we ended up with the skunk. My father in-law told me he doesn't believe there are fish in the lake[]. The west side was mosquito city we only stayed about five minute. Still a nice day and good to get a little fishing in. Thanks for the tips, next time I guess.

With as shallow as the lake is I am surprised if many are doing well from the dike to begin with.

I don't know how many times I have said that too.. "There's no damn fish in this lake." Haha. When I shore fished out there I had the most luck on the southwest corner. My profile pic is from my best shore day there.
