Houghton Lake
#1
Houghton Lake hasen't changed fishing wise since the last report , Crappies are still at the Cut river mouth about 100 yards out , hammerhandels around the longpoint area , very few ceepers . Smelt fishing is starting to pick up .

Now, Brad from the D.N.R. was at Larry's bait and sport in Gladwin and said fishing around the area has slowed down since chrstmass , but if your looking for the panfish , hit the cuts around Houghton Lake , they seem to explode with fish at no certin time or condition . " If you fish it , they will come "!

Don't forget to let us know how your last fishing trip went , thanks !
