That's a loaded question and has been debated a lot on this forum. Search the old posts for this information and you will get your answers. If you don't find anything and get more people answering this question I am sure you will get all you care to listen to. I am just glad to see some bigger fish in the lake. I don't care so much about releasing fish. My pet peeve is having to pay to park anywhere I want to go fishing any more. Thank goodness for the government and their pocket pinching fingers.

Your money at Strawberry isn't going to the government. The government was too lazy to want to manage Strawberry so they've leased out the rights to Mountainland Campground Management. They get a sweet deal on a VERY long term lease and in return, your money goes into their coffers on the east coast (I believe that they're based out of North Carolina).
I don't mind paying in the winter because it goes into plowing the road, but it is ridiculous how many new areas they make you pay for now.

Touche', Shrimpboy! At least the roads and some parking areas are plowed in the winter. The North Carolina thing is why I don't mind paying the $3 or so to go on the Mirror Lake highway, American Fork Canyon, etc. The $$$ stays in the area for improvements. "F" word= frustrating!!![mad]
