Nice looking carp.....for the all the bad things people say they sure do fight hard. Interesting he went after your crankbait, it seems you don't often hear about them going after those

Caught myself one of these bad boys last week at UL. Only I thought I had snagged up, since there was no fight. after about 10 seconds, I thought I had snagged a large submerged something, as it barely started to move in. A few minutes later, it actually moved in another direction, and fought only when it got near shore. Turns out I foul hooked it in the dorsal fin.

I fish 4 lb line on a L or UL rod, so anything of size is quite fun and a challenge. The best fish is the one that gets off, right about the time you are getting ready to release it.

Cool, yeah this one fought like hell; thought I had a big walleye for a minute. took about 10 mins to get it in.
