Went out this afternoon, just as the wind picked up. Started with a square bill, fishing shallow laydowns. Caught several small bass,2-3 fow, right after the bait hit a limb. 58-60 degree water. Nothing subtle about the bite. Ran up the lake , fished a couple slough's with no success. Tried docks, laydowns, points. Headed to the house, in time for a warm dinner.
